Summer 2011

So this summer I didn't really take time off from school. 

It was not very fun.

Assignments kept me busy during the week and the weekend!

On the bright side, the class is now over! 

Right after the final my friend Brooke and I decided to celebrate.

So we headed to Oregano's.

Amazing choice.

We were just going there for dessert but, dessert turned into a meal and then dessert.

So after enjoying a celebratory pizza we then enjoyed our celebratory Pizzookie!

Summer has officially started for me!

3 weeks of freedom. 

Crafting.

Organizing.

(more) Cooking.

Swimming.

Sleeping.

Day 7

Boston.

Being only a hour drive from home, I have always loved going to Boston.

The atmosphere there is so busy and crazy.

Traffic was insane so we parked and walked around.

I love being around such old building and the history there is incredible.

Austin loved it.

Boston was so fun!

Day 6

I love New England.

Road trips are a breeze and in less than 2 hours you can be in a different State no matter which direction you travel in.

On this day we decided to head West and go to Vermont.

Vermont is so beautiful and so green!

We went to the Joseph Smith Memorial.

It was so beautiful there and we sure learned a lot of church history.

We were able to see the beautiful monument and walk around the grounds.

Day 5

Growing up in New Hampshire I was surrounded by lakes.

We spent countless hours all summer long at the lake relaxing, playing, barbecuing and other fun stuff!

It was so fun to take my husband to the lake where I grew up.

The crystal clear water

and the perfect weather

made me miss my summers 

and wishing I could trade my Arizona summers for a New Hampshire any time!

We played some football and frisbee and then jumped in the water.
